Ingredients
1 cup dry red wine
200 g sugar
500 g strawberries (maybe raspberries or blueberries)
100 ml cognac
1 tbsp starch
whipped cream with sugar
Method
Dissolve the sugar in 150 ml wine and boil for 5-7 minutes, then add the cognac. In the hot syrup add strawberries and boil again. Mix the starch with the remaining wine and pour in strawberries and stir. Remove from heat. Pour into small bowls and garnish with whipped cream.
