English banitsa

Ingredients
300 g flour
150 g butter
4 eggs
salt
300 g ham
300 g cheese
1 and 1/4 cup (250 ml) milk
pepper
savory
dried dill
Method
Flour, pinch of salt and melted butter and mix them to make fine crumbs. Add 1 egg yolk and some water to obtain a stiff dough. Spread the dough and put in a small pan, lifting the edges. Beat 3 eggs and mix with milk, grated finely cheese, chopped ham, pepper and savory. This mixture is poured over the dough and dusted with fennel. Bake at high heat for 10 minutes, and then reduced and bake for 30 minutes.
