Ingredients
150 g flour
75 g butter or lard
pinch of salt
250 g ham
2 cup (400 ml) milk
3 eggs

Method
Flour, the salt and the butter, cut into pieces, rub between hands while become grainy mass. Add 1/2 cup (100 ml) of water and the mixture is kneaded vigorously. The resulting dough is shaped into a ball, flatten with the palm of the hand and again add some ball. This was repeated three times, after which the dough was allowed to rest in the cold. During this time the ham is sliced ​​and deep bowl whisk eggs with milk, salt and pepper. Roll out the dough to 3 mm thick crust, place in a pan with a diameter of about 20 cm, pricked with a fork to the bottom, sprinkle with pieces of ham and pour the mixture of eggs and milk. The banitsa bake about 30 minutes in a hot oven and served warm.
