Kozunak without eggs

Ingredients
1 kg of flour
1 cup (200 g) sugar
150 g butter or lard
30 g yeast
1 and 1/2 cup (300 ml) milk
rind of 1 lemon
1 egg for egg wash

Method
Yeast dissolved in 1 tbsp (10 g) sugar, 1 tbsp (10 ml) milk and a little flour. Put it in a warm effervescent. Sugar dissolves in milk and other products (such zest is nastagrana) and finished knead yeast dough that is put in a warm place to rise. The dough is divided in 2 parts and each part of the 3 pieces. Pieces are tacky strips and weave of tangles. Put in an oiled dish and leave in a warm place to rise. Once the dough rise, is coated with beaten egg and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake in preheated oven strong.
