Ingredients
500 g filo pastry sheets (1 package)
1 lemon
125 g butter
500 g walnuts
# For the syrup:
500 g sugar
750 ml water
Method
Each sheet of phyllo are folded in two. At the top width to scatter the crushed nuts and rolled. Repeat to finish the sheet. The rolls are placed in a greased pan, cut into pieces and bake until pinking. Sprinkle with grated lemon peel and pour the melted butter. Cool. Boil water with sugar. Baklava pour this hot syrup and kept for 24 hours.
