Lemon ice cream

Ingredients
1 cup lemon juice
2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup water
1/2 tsp gelatine
grated lemon peel
1 lemon to decorate
Method
Sugar is dissolved in hot water and mix with the lemon juice and grated lemon rind. Gelatin, pre-soaked in a little cold water to swell, was added to the mixture and stirred to dissolve. The mixture is filtered, poured into a suitable container and freeze in the icebox, stirring occasionally. The finished ice cream is distributed in pre-chilled glasses and garnish with lemon slices.
