Santiago Cake (Tarta de Santiago)

Ingredients
500 g ground almonds
500 g sugar
7 eggs
100 g butter
150 g flour
1 tsp cinnamon
50 ml sherry or other sweet wine (such as port)
50 g of powdered sugar
1 tbsp water
Method
Prepare the dough with 1 egg, the butter, flour and spoon water. Everything is kneaded very well. Roll out until a crust to cover a medium-sized pan or cake form. The bottom of the tray omazva with butter and sprinkle with flour, then spread the resulting top crust. Separately, in a large bowl mix ground almonds with sugar and cinnamon, adding sherry and remaining 6 eggs, one at a time.
