Spicy potato BBQ

Ingredients
1 tbsp ground bay leaf
1 and 1/2 tsp ground mustard seeds
1 tsp paprika
by 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, ginger, white pepper, black pepper
salt
oil
6 large potatoes
Method
Potatoes are put in cold water and salt and cooked (al dente). Drain, leave to cool, then cut along each of 8 pieces. All spices are mixed in a bowl. Heat grill pan, potatoes are coated with olive oil, seasoned well with spices and baked to browning.
