Sweet Almond

Ingredients
350 g peeled ground almonds
1 tbsp grated lemon peel
300 g sugar
3 egg whites
pinch of salt
powdered sugar for sprinkling
Method
300 g of almonds mixed with spices and 150 g of sugar. Egg whites are broken down with the salt and snow them gradually add remaining sugar, stirring until the hard snow. Add almond mixture and stir with a wooden spoon. The dough is spread onto a board, sprinkled with the remaining almonds, at a thickness of 3 cm. Divide into 30 pieces, which are formed into balls and arrange in a greased with butter and sprinkled with flour pan. Leave to dry for two hours. Bake in preheated 150 C oven until golden - should not turn brown because it will nagorchavat. Remove and while still warm, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
