Topped white sweet

Ingredients
150 g lard (butter, margarine)
150 g of powdered sugar
400 g flour
2 eggs
1/2 lemon
100 g candied or dried colorful fruits (figs, raisins, apricots, orange peel)
1/3 cup (50 g) in large pieces chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, apricot)
Method
Whip with sugar snow. Add the lemon juice. With the egg yolks, the lard, flour, grated lemon rind and 1/2 of beaten whites knead hard dough. The dough is divided into portions, which are rolled oblong sheets with a width of about 7 cm and a thickness of about 1.5 cm. Peel Spread with remaining beaten egg-white, and on it rank finely chopped pieces of saccharified colorful fruits and in large pieces chopped nuts. So shaped wafers are cut into strips 1.5 cm wide. The white cookies arrange in greased and sprinkled with flour baking tray and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at low temperature (about 120 C). In the absence of colorful candied fruit can be used jelly candy.
