Sponge cake Queen Elizabeth

Ingredients
250 g of dates
1 cup flour
10 g baking powder (1 packet)
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup sunflower oil
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1-2 vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
# For coconut glaze:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup butter
100 ml cream
3/4 cup coconut

Method
Dates cook for 2-3 minutes, peel and cut into small pieces. Egg mix with sugar, add 1 cup water, flour sifted with baking powder, salt, the oil and vanilla. Mix everything well. Finally add the walnuts and dates. A rare mixture. Bake in greased and floured cake form 180 C. cake is removed from the mold after it has completely cooled down. Pour a chilled coconut glaze. frosting, icing All products were combined and boiled for a few minutes until a kashitsa.
