Quick anise cake

Ingredients
250 g flour
160 g sugar
4 eggs
50 g cornstarch
100 g cream at room temperature
1 package dry yeast
2 pinches salt
50 ml anise liqueur
grated hazelnuts for decoration
Method
In a bowl beat egg yolks with half the sugar. Egg whites and remaining sugar crash of snow. To egg mixture, flour sifted with salt and yeast is added and the cream. Dough ends with egg whites, broken snow. Place the mixture in a greased and floured pan. Sprinkle with hazelnuts and bake at 160 C for 40-45 minutes.

I wonder what you will taste the cake with this anise liqueur? I associate it with aniseed mastic :), and something I wonder what would happen :)
