Chicken Tandoori

Ingredients
1 chicken
70 g yogurt
30 g Gee or melted butter
1 onion
the juice of 1 lemon
5-6 garlic cloves
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp ground cumin
2 bay leaves
1 tsp ground coriander
pinch of ginger powder
salt

Method
Cleaned and washed chicken is cut in several places, sprinkle with lemon juice and allowed to stand for about 30 minutes. In a separate vessel, a marinade of chopped onion and garlic, yoghurt and spices. The chicken is coated with the mixture and keep in refrigerator 6 hours. Then place in a greased baking dish with butter and bake in a moderate oven until ready.

Great recipe! I love Indian cuisine and I did just that used ready spice - Garam masala. Becomes incredibly delicious and flavorful! Try it, you will not regret it!

In principle Tandoori Chicken is cooked on a spit and roast in the oven ... Thus acquires the characteristic aroma and flavor of wood / oven lit with wood ... /
