Italian wedding soup

Ingredients
# For the marbles:
250 g beef
2 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 egg
by 1/2 tsp oregano, basil, salt and pepper
# For the soup:
2 tbsp olive oil
2 carrots
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
2 cup Spinach
2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
5 cups water or chicken or beef broth
1/2 cup rice
salt
pepper

Method
All products marbles knead well and form small balls. In a large saucepan pour the olive oil, onions and carrots, chopped. Add a few tablespoons of water and stew on low heat about 10 minutes or until tender vegetables. Insert cloves chopped garlic and stew for another 1-2 minutes. Make water (broth) and bring to the boil. Add balls and rice. Boil about 15 minutes. Add shredded spinach and basil and boil for another 3-4 minutes. Seasoned with salt and pepper and serve. A little clarification - do not think that this soup is served especially at weddings in Italy. The name comes from the Italian translation in English (Italian wedding soup). The original name of the Italian * minestra maritata * means that meat and green vegetables go well together, ie * * Wedding between beef and spinach in the case.

Today it prepared, I kept everything as written, only refilled water that did me much rice. Was very tasty :)
