Jam prunes

Ingredients
3 kg ripe plums
1 kg of sugar
3-4 geranium leaves
1 tsp limontozu

Method
Wash and remove the stone as they are cut into quarters. Place in a pan or wide saucepan, sprinkle with sugar and so stay overnight. The next day put on the stove and cook for 10 minutes after boiling, during boiling using a slotted spoon is removed foam generated. Then remove from the heat and leave to stand again overnight. The next day, put back on the stove, put the leaves of geranium and sweet boiled until ready or drop of liquid dropped onto the saucer to hold its shape and not spill. Three or four minutes before take off sweet from heat, add 1 tsp limontozu. Finished jam packed in dry jars, which are sealed and sterilized 10 minutes.

Could not without weld jars only turned them while they are hot?

For sure sterilize them, do not deteriorate over time. Sterilize them last several years ... as long as you let them one because sweet is very nice. Good luck!
