Mekitsi - II type

Ingredients
5 cups (1 kg) flour
3 eggs
500 g yogurt
1 tsp (5 g) of baking soda
1 cup (200 ml) lukewarm water
pinch of salt
vegetable oil for frying
1 cup (200 g) powdered sugar

Method
To add flour beaten eggs with yogurt, baking soda, salt and water. Prepare rare dough (if necessary, be added a little water) and allowed to sit for about 30 minutes. It with wet hands round the mekitsi, then fry them in hot grease (to cover them when frying). Drained of fat and served sprinkled with powdered sugar.

I did not like :(

The best cakes! Remain their soft and fluffy even when cool unlike those which are themselves made from yeast dough!

I do them with 1 egg. The dough should be soft / not rare /. Once mature covered in greased Court Roll it on a greased plate and cut out the shapes as desired. In this season goes great served with cheese and grapes!
