Provencal ketchup

Ingredients
8 kg ripe tomatoes
200 g green peppers
100 g onion
1 head of garlic
4 dried chillies
1 sprig of oregano
1 sprig rosemary
200 g puree of peppers
1 cup vinegar
1 cup sugar
1 cup salt
Method
Tomatoes are grated and put to boil together with other vegetables also cut. Boil until left 1/2 of the original volume. Add spices, vinegar, salt and sugar. So boil to evaporate vinegar. The mixture is still warm and passaged is packed into jars. Sterilize 10 minutes.

So do not you make chutney?

I like ketchup proposed. I took it to Favorites. After a few days I'll do it! But green peppers them brave.

I've written, that the mixture is passaged. No sense Mellish peppers.
