1/2 cup (100 g) trahana
5 cups (1 liter) of water
125 g butter

Method
Trahana together with the butter is placed in a container with cold water and, stirring constantly, boil on low heat until completely soft and taking all the water. Received an average of thick porridge served with crumbled feta cheese.

My grandmother is from Thrace and I grew up with trahana. It is very tasty if finally add a little fried until golden finely chopped onions.

One of my favorite dishes for breakfast. And much strengthened. Ometesh as a plate to 2-3 hours not think of eating. It is better to add the knob of butter.
