Ingredients
5 cups (1 kg) cornmeal
salt
10 cup (2 liters) of water
60 g butter
Method
To flour gradually while stirring the water. Received an average of thick porridge add salt to taste, pour into greased with butter tray and bake until pinking. Nayazva on squares or triangles and served with yogurt, poached eggs and feta cheese.

I was born and raised in the village. Selanovtsi municipality. Vratsa. Prosenik the second type just do not give way to blue (domestic round table where we ate). In taste it is irreplaceable and incomparable to anything else. When baking baking pan can be added finely crumbled cheese or pork cracklings (residue melting lard at home). Prosenik baked, served at the table and consumed the same day. Prosenik and hominy are very good combination with cabbage with pork or other meat dishes like. Excellent combination with it are also all kinds of milk and dairy products. Traditionally that end the evening prior to kill the pig dinner Prosenik (hominy) and raw cabbage soup inside chopped sauerkraut, leeks and irreplaceable slightly singed and finely crushed red chillies.
