Base for layered cake Joan

Ingredients
6 eggs
150 g of powdered sugar
50 g chocolate
100 g ground almonds
1 tsp bread crumbs
1 tsp flour
the juice and rind of 1/2 lemon
Method
Yolks are broken with sugar until white. Add to chocolate, juice and grated peel of lemon and egg whites, beaten to snow. Add bread crumbs, flour and ground almonds. All stir and pour into littered with paper baking dish. Bake in a moderate oven. Once cool, the base is cut into two parts, between which is brushed and decorated with cream of your choice.
