400 g canned chickpeas or beans 500 g frozen and further stewed chickpeas

Onions and garlic sauté with a little oil (olive oil), add chickpeas, cover the pan with a lid and leave on low heat for a few minutes. Add lemon juice, spices and leave for another 5 minutes on medium heat on the stove. In the final minutes put bread crumbs to thicken, as best it if it lightly sauteed, but be careful not to engage the pan. Heat is served as a side dish or a main dish and cold as a salad is delicious ( if served cold, breadcrumbs option).
