Serail sweet
Ingredients
5 slices of white bread
1 cup (200 ml) milk
1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup (100 g) vegetable oil or pork lard
1 cup (200 ml) of water
essence or vanilla
Method
Pastry slices are dipped in milk, then in beaten egg and fry in heated oil until lightly browned. The sugar and water syrup is made, which is flavored with the essence (vanilla). In this syrup soaked fried slices.

Old and forgotten recipe, but delicious dessert. I inundate cold slices with lukewarm syrup (such as baklava).
