Turkey curry pilaf

Ingredients
1 large onion
4 cloves garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp curry powder
50 g raisins
100 g of dried apricots, chopped
2 cup long-grain rice
4 cup chicken broth
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp grated lemon peel
500 g ready boiled or roasted turkey meat
1/2 cup peeled almonds
4 tbsp chopped parsley
salt
pepper
Method
Onion cut in crescents put to choke for 3-4 minutes in the heated oil. Add crushed garlic, dried fruit, cinnamon and curry. Stir for 1-2 minutes and add the rice. Fry for a minute, pour the broth and season to taste. Allow to simmer with the lid on until the liquid is almost absorbed. At the finished rice is added meat, which was previously fragmented into small pieces, lemon juice, lemon zest and almonds. Once everything simmer another 1-2 minutes and add parsley. Before serving, subtract the cinnamon stick.
