Ingredients
          200 g butter
          2 and 1/2 cup flour
          1 tbsp sugar
          2 tbsp cold water
          500 g strawberries
          16 g vanilla sugar
          1/2 cup sugar
          1 yolk
          1 tsp milk

          Method
              Cold butter cut into pieces, then mixed with flour, add 1 tbsp sugar and started interfering. Must obtain large crumbs, the mixture was ground with hands, add water and continue to knead until the shape of the ball. The dough is wrapped in foil and put in the refrigerator.     The strawberries are washed and cleaned from the stems, then cut into slices. Put them in a saucepan with the vanilla sugar (recipe source with vanilla pod) and 1/2 cup sugar and the mixture was heated while stirring for at least 10 minutes then allowed it to cool.     from refrigerated dough detachable 2/3, which are rolled into a thin circular plate. The base was transferred to a tray with a diameter of 24 cm, we have to cover walls. Strawberry filling poured on top and smoothed. Remaining dough is rolled into a rectangle from which the cut strips, which is done on a grid filling. The yolk is mixed with milk and brush is applied to the dough. Pie bake at 200C degrees until it becomes golden.     * As my oven has a weak lower wire, baked to slightly pinkish only lower base, may not remain raw.
