Ingredients
2 cups olio (sunflower)
1 cup sugar
1 cup orange juice (fresh)
1 cup fine semolina
1050 g soft flour (sifted)
1 grated orange (peel)
1 grated lemon (peel)
1 baking powder - '12
2 vanilla
8 g cinnamon
100 g honey
50 g of cognac (whiskey)
4 g cloves
4 g nutmeg
250 g average crushed walnuts
# For the syrup:
1 kg of sugar
700 ml water
500 g honey
# For sprinkling:
250 g average crushed walnuts

Method
The oil mix of foam and added sugar, orange juice, semolina, grated peel, cinnamon, vanilla, the walnuts, cloves, nutmeg, honey, Konkani, then slowly add the flour with baking powder sifted sieve until a soft dough. The dough is made shapes. Bake at 185 C for about 30 minutes. Once roasted immersed in the syrup for about 1 minute, remove and sprinkle with walnuts. For the syrup: water and sugar should be cooked 2 to 5 minutes, when the mixture cool and add the honey.
