Prunes rice

Ingredients
200 g pitted prunes
2-3 tbsp sunflower oil
1 cup sugar
1 cup rice
1 tbsp cinnamon
Method
Well washed plums Boil 3 cups water. Rice fry gently in sunflower oil and pour into pan. Pour a decoction of plums, add cooked fruit and sugar. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake in moderate oven until the rice is ready. Serve cold.

How much is rice?

It's in the book where I read the recipe, I guess that is one cup.
