Cream soup of red lentils and potatoes

Ingredients
250-300 g red lentils
150-200 g potatoes
1-2 carrots
1 small onion
2-3 cloves garlic
50-75 ml olive oil
more 1 tbsp dried mint, dried basil, paprika and cayenne pepper
1 tsp ground black pepper
2 tbsp tomato paste
salt
Method
In heated oil fry chopped onion, garlic, potatoes and carrots. Add 1.5 liters of boiling water. Once cooked vegetables are added lentils care must be taken because the red lentils is boiled very quickly. Once cooked and lentils, add the tomato paste and spices. Blend and leave to Clock for another 5 minutes on low heat. Serve with a slice of lemon.
