Roast chicken with sauerkraut

Ingredients
1 chicken (about 1 kg)
2/3 cup molten pig lard or sunflower oil
2 kg sauerkraut
2 dry red peppers
chili peppers optional
pepper
salt

Method
Cleaned and washed chicken rub inside and out with salt and lightly smeared with a little of the fat. Cabbage, cleaned from the stalk and the solids are cut into small pieces and stew with the remaining oil. When ready, add the dried peppers, cleaned of seeds and cut into pieces, pepper and hot peppers. Mix well and 2/3 of the mixture is evenly distributed in the pan (stew). On this film puts the prepared chicken, which covers the rest of the cabbage. Bake until the green fat remains.
