Method
Nuts are cut. Mix flour, sugar and baking powder in a large bowl. Add beaten egg and stir well until the dough is formed, but not too wet (if dough is dry add a little egg). Finally add the cherries, chocolate, star anise, nuts and lemon zest and stir well. Dampen hands and the dough is divided into six pieces. Each piece is formed on the wick about 3 cm in diameter and put on paper in the tray away. Lightly pressed against the top of the dough and bake at 180C degrees for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and allowed to stand for 10 minutes to cool and solidify. With a serrated knife chop biscuit 0.5 cm, turn around and return to the oven to 140C degrees bake both sides in 10 minutes.
