          Method
Beat the butter with the sugar and add one by one egg. Pour the buttermilk and mix. Mix together the starch, flour, poppy, baking powder and vanilla. Add the dry mixture to the oil. Cover large rectangular tray - 24h37 cm and 8 cm in height - with baking paper and pour the dough inside. Smooth. Drain well fruit juice and arrange them on the dough alternatively. Sprinkle with the walnuts. Preheat the oven to 170C and bake the cake for about 30-35 minutes. Once cool well cut it into pieces and sprinkle with powdered sugar. * cake is quite large. May reduce its half. * No fruit becomes a wonderful cake base.

How big pan is suitable (diameter in inches or volume)?
That which is used 24-37sm and 8 cm deep.
Really sizable :)
is big and very tasty! I put a little more sugar that loves sweet, but overall, the cake is very soft and worth to try :)

cake became a great, albeit with another compote. All amazed by the combination of poppy fruit, but were very pleased. I made half a proportion never got to all, so you'll have to do it again!
