Ingredients
500 g of apples
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
raisins
500 g ready peel
butter

Method
Peel apples and cut them into small pieces. Add them breadcrumbs, sugar, walnuts and raisins. Put on 2 sheets melted butter and filling. Wrap rolls and angling them in a greased with butter tray. Sprinkle top with plenty of butter. Bake in moderate oven strudel and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Very quick and easy recipe. I'm doing it for years. Apples them scrape a grater and wholesale quantities of products are my little different, put raisins, but will try them, I liked the idea.

I grated apples. I had used the breadcrumbs and crushed biscuits. Instead of raisins put pieces of Turkish delight. Will try and raisins. Divine taste!

I do strudel pastry ready for this recipe. Raisins soaking them in rumthe night before, as in the original Viennese strudel.
