Method
In a bowl mix the flour and baking powder, sugar, salt and cinnamon. Add the butter, previously softened to room temperature and it is kneaded with fingers, with the aim mixture resemble breadcrumbs. Add raisins (dried fruit). Separately, mix the egg, to which was added milk, and then poured into a dry blend. Stir to afford a wet batter * *, which sticks to fingers. Scoops with tablespoon of the mixture and put in a tray with pre-laid paper for baking and so while utilizing all the mixture. In preheated oven bake cookies of 190C degrees 15-20 minutes or until ready depending on the oven. * The original English recipe uses something called self-raising flour or meal, which rises only (ie when using such flour do not need supplements such as baking powder, soda in yoghurt etc. for the dough to rise). I can not remember whether the local market offers this product and so on needed items I mentioned 1 tsp baking powder that is added to the flour mixture in the beginning. I've done it both ways and I always receive, because the recipe is not pretentious and is very easy. * Optional can add crushed nuts.
