Dates in batter

Ingredients
500 g puff pastry
30 dates
30 walnuts
150 ml cognac

Method
Discard the stones of dates and fruits are placed in a bowl. Pour with cognac and left marinated for 30 minutes. Drained of cognac and in the middle of each date stone is placed in a walnut nut. Puff dough is cut into 30 strips 2 cm thick. On each strip is placed on a date stone stuffed and rolled. The cookies arrange in a greased baking pan and bake in a preheated 200 C oven.

Very original!

Furthermore dates can use other dried fruits - prunes pitted apricots, figs. I have not enjoyed cognac - the fruits were soon bought and quite fresh, so I did not have a problem with cutting and putting kernels. Easy and quick dessert!
