Glazed carrots

Ingredients
1 kg carrots
100 g butter
4 tbsp * * Golden syrup or honey
1 tsp pepper
pinch of salt

Method
Peel and cut the carrots into sticks with a thickness of 0.5 cm and a length of 3-4 cm. Arrange them in a lightly greased baking tray in advance with cow butter. Sprinkle them with pepper. Pour over the syrup * Gold * (Golden syrup). Cover the pan with foil. Bake them in the oven at 220C for 40 minutes. * It is very easy side dish that is suitable with roast chicken, pork or lamb.
