1.5 kg whole mussels
1 and 1/2 cup rice
1 onion
1 tbsp paprika
5-6 tbsp sunflower oil
salt, pepper

Mussels are cleaned well outside with a knife or washed with a stiff brush. Chop finely and stew with the oil. Add rice and paprika and all pour 4 cups water. Once the liquid boils placed mussels. Dish add salt, season with pepper and allow to boil. Finish is when the mussels are open and filled with rice.

I love mussels, but unfortunately in Ruse has just frozen in supermarkets, and with them nothing is the same ...: - (

I put them fennel and lovage. They are great! In our country this is one of the favorite dishes of all. I am very glad that already are pochtgi year in fishing shops and there is no need to wait for summer to enjoy them.

Great recipe, make it often, it is sometimes prepare soup with more water.

Try this recipe, but with rice and groats. Good appetite!
