For me ice cream cross became rags and waste your taste? :(

I guess because it poured with hot tea - Try to wait a bit to cool and then. Moreover, apparently the ice cream you are using is nice (as there is nothing to cross) - if full of preservatives, stabilizers and other crap nothing happens to it :)
