Meatballs (mini spaghetti, tympanum, etc)

Ingredients
3 cups bread cut into cubes (2.5 cm)
1.25 kg beef mince
3 eggs (beaten)
3 cloves garlic (pressed)
3/4 cup grated pecorino feta cheese (Pecorino)
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup pine nuts (roasted)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 and 1/2 cup basic tomato sauce

Method
In a shallow dish soaked bread cubes in water for 1-2 minutes. Drain well. In a large bowl mix the bread, beef, eggs, garlic, the feta cheese pecorino, parsley, roasted pine nuts, salt and pepper and confused. With wet hands to make a ball, each smaller than a tennis ball, but larger than a golf ball. In a pan warm the oil until the block and add the meatballs, which are fried until golden brown on all sides about 10 minutes. Add tomato sauce and reduce to simmer for 30 minutes. Basic tomato sauce: 3/4 cup tomato pesto, 1 cup water, 2 cups tomato sauce, boiled together for about ten minutes.
