Medeni blocks (Lebkuchen)

Ingredients
2 cups honey
5 and 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup grated almonds
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp crushed cloves
3/4 cup candied fruit (orange and lemon peel)
1/2 tsp baking powder
# For glaze:
2 egg whites
1 and 1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
Method
Honey is heated until it becomes liquid, but not boil. All other products are added and mixed well. The dough is placed on a floured surface and knead until smooth, as if necessary add the flour. Rolled to a thickness of 1-1.5 cm, which is baked in a greased and floured pan in a preheated 180 C oven for 20 minutes. While hot is coated with glaze prepared as follows: Egg whites are broken down into the snow, add sugar and lemon juice and stir until smooth shiny mixture. The base was cut into rectangles after cool.

What you say is very tasty, but there is a small problem as it nagotvish and let it stand becomes very hard.
