Roast leg of lamb with lovage

2.5 kg leg of lamb
a few sprigs of fresh lovage (Selim)
3-4 sprigs fresh garlic
1 large lemon or 2 smaller
2/3 cup olive oil
2 tbsp spice mix for lamb
salt, pepper, garlic powder

On leg incisions for shpikovane. Add salt and sprinkle with pepper. Leg is shpikova with pieces of white of fresh garlic and fresh leaves of lovage (Selim). Lemon peel and grate leg is smeared with it, then pour plenty of lemon juice. Sprinkle with a mix of spices for lamb and garlic powder. Watered with plenty of olive oil and put in a roasting bag. Add about 1 cup water and the bag is closed by a needle prick of 4-5 places steam to escape during baking and put in preheated oven at 220C. Bake until browned meat. Delicious is served with a side dish of lamb liver-dolma and lettuce.
