Milk caramel

Ingredients
500 ml milk (whole and short shelf life)
100 g butter
1 cup milk
3 cups sugar
Method
Mix the two types of milk with sugar and boil over low heat, stirring constantly until it gets brownish color. Then add the butter and boil until ready - about an hour and a half. If boil less was prepared, cooked condensed milk. It is important to stir constantly.

Milk any special is it? The standard is 3-3. 5% fat, and if kept in a refrigerator and is a fugitive or durable really matter?

For The percentages higher than 3, 5 do not know to have, but not smaller. If there is found a higher - even better. A shelf life - I mean, not from those with a few months duration.

This is just another option for getting Dulce de leche and durability of milk does not matter.
