Nevi, the mango is green in the sense their immature or green with green sheet, Brazilian?

Rally, 1 picture is very mango. This is a variation on a salad of green mango, typical for Thailand Environment and Asia. Here and there and tell him only *green mango* (so and so wrote it), but this is exactly Nam Doc Mai Thai mangoes or mango. Elongated thin stone is when green is green sheet and solid bright green interior, slightly sweet and is used for salads and dishes. Becomes yellow when ripe and sweet and very tasty - used for dessert, sticky rice with mango (Sticky rice with mango).

Nevi, thank you. So I'm not such a mango bought, I've seen them in Asians (do not know if this particular variety), but I did not take. I did not know enjoy and unripe. Everywhere selling Brazilian mango, and I buy the Indians Pakistani mango which I like more. In pondelnik thought anyway to go to the Asian shop, will sign to buy and try mango salad :)

interesting recipe must try. I have a girlfriend and she makes Thai salad, but green papaya. And this will do to surprise her.

I hope you like salad, girls :) Very fresh and different is the result of my attempts to recreate salad with green mango, which we did in Cambodia. In this part of Asia use some slightly different planes, yielding long, thin strips, if you have such - use, if not - large-scale normal grater also going on.

Xevi thanks for shared recipe. The salad was very tasty, my friend also liked it. The only difficulty was to find green mango, but after touring several shops found.

SweetyPie, very glad that you liked, and your friend :) I know it's difficult to find a green mango, but if you have it at hand, this salad is an idea what to do. Unfortunately can not be replaced by any of the more popular fruits and vegetables (green papaya eventually, but it is so hard to find) ...
