Christmas bread with fruit

Ingredients
200 g of dried apples
200 g of dried pineapple
200 g of dried figs
200 g of dried apricots
200 g of prunes
200 g dates
150 g sliced ​​almonds
100 g chopped hazelnuts
100 g candied orange peels
the juice and rind of 1 lemon
150 g sugar
1/2 tsp mixture of cinnamon and nutmeg
400 g flour
25 g yeast
1 tbsp honey
120 ml lukewarm milk
80 g butter
1 Egg
1 pinch salt
Method
The fruits are cut, add the almonds, hazelnuts, candied orange peel, lemon peel and juice, sugar and a mixture of cinnamon and nutmeg and mix everything well. The mixture is screwed and left to stand overnight. Sift the flour into a deep bowl and make a well in the middle. Honey and yeast dissolved in 2 tbsp warm water, the mixture is placed in the middle of the flour, mix with a little flour and leave to stand for 20 minutes. Then add the milk, the butter and the salt and the whole was vigorously agitated dough. Leave to rise for 30 minutes, add the fruit mixture and mix everything nice. Formed into two loaves, put on a greased baking pan and leave to rise for 20 minutes. Then the loaves are coated with water with a brush and baked at 200 C for about 1 hour.
