Rice a la fermier

Ingredients
70 g lard
250 g smoked brisket
1 onion
1 small cabbage
500 g rice
1.5 liters of water
pepper
salt
cheese
Method
In clay pot heat the lard. Add smoked breast, diced, chopped onion and fry. Insert cut into thin julienne cabbage and stew 12 minutes. Add rice, water, pepper and salt. Boil for about 25 minutes until the rice is ready and served sprinkled with cheese.

I have not rules cabbage casseroles :). May is the time to try.

Fifth, other dishes I cook in your crock only cabbage I have not done. I intend to buy and crock as a baking pan with a lid. :) But see when :)
