Rice pudding with oven

100 g rice
400 ml water
10 g butter
1 liter milk
100 g sugar
30 g rice or corn starch
1 cinnamon stick
1 capsule cardamom optional
1 vanilla
pinch of salt

In a saucepan put the rice and water, boil until the water evaporates. Add milk, salt, the butter, cinnamon, vanilla and cardamom, leave to cook for another 15 minutes. Dissolve the starch with a little water and add to the rice, stir and turn off the heat. Spread into bowls and bake in upper heating element in the oven until browned, my oven is gas and is fast for 5 minutes.

Flower, last night I made rice pudding in my recipe, and finally put starch as you describe you. Only let it boil and it Peko. Became very creamy dessert! Thank you!

Maybe without browning it as pudding in Roasting gets a nice tasty crust and eat it first.
