Shortcake with jam - III type

Ingredients
125 g butter or margarine
1 cup powdered sugar
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
marmalade or jam spreads
1/2 cup crystal sugar
1/2 cup water
for sprinkling: chocolate, walnuts, almonds

Method
The butter (margarine) Stir the cream with powdered sugar. Add one after the other two eggs and two yolks. Mix with mixer 8-10 minutes. Add the flour mixed with baking powder. Stir the mixture and poured into lightly greased and floured pan with a diameter of about 24 cm (for example, from the electrical cooker). Bake in a moderate oven. Once cool cake smeared with marmalade or jam. Boiled syrup of the granulated sugar and water. Two other egg whites are broken down into thick snow and pour the end of the court from the hot syrup, stirring continuously. When egg white absorb the syrup is raztila on marmalade. On top sprinkle with grated chocolate or crushed nuts or other decoration optional.
