Turkey with apricots and walnuts

Ingredients
1 small young turkey
30 g butter
200 g apricot jam
1 piece fresh ginger root
250 g of dried apricots
200 g walnuts halves
1 and 1/4 tea cup . (250 ml) meat broth
cayenne pepper
cinnamon
pepper
salt
Method
The oven is heated to 180 C. The washed and dried turkey rub inside and out with salt and pepper. Spread 1 tbsp melted butter, put it in the pan, breast side down and bake 30 minutes. Then inverted, smeared with the remaining butter and bake for 30-40 minutes more. The jam is heated to liquefy and mix with finely chopped or grated ginger root, a pinch of cayenne pepper and a pinch of cinnamon. The turkey is coated with this mixture. In the pan add the washed dried apricots, walnut halves and broth. Dish bake another 20 minutes. Finished turkey is removed from the oven and keep warm. In serving partitioned and garnish with apricots and the walnuts.
