Almond syrup cake

Ingredients
5 eggs
200 g butter or margarine
300 g sugar
400 g semolina
250 g almonds (cleaned and ground)
20 g baking powder
20 g cinnamon
# For the syrup:
2 cup sugar
3 cups Water
25 ml cognac
the juice of 1 lemon
vanilla
Method
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar and the butter. Stir and egg white foam and poured into the mixture with the egg yolks. Semolina mix with almonds, baking powder and cinnamon and add to the other mixture. Bake in greased and floured pan of 180-200 C for 40 minutes. Prepare the syrup and syrup cake (one is cool, and warm drugoto-). Optional decorate with melted chocolate and ground hazelnuts or only with ground hazelnuts, mixed with a little sugar.
