500 g puff pastry
200-250 g jam of your choice
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 yolk
powdered sugar

Method
The dough is thawed and with a sharp knife, cut into strips, which are divided into pieces. On each piece put 1 tsp sweet and 1 tsp walnuts. Wrap up the banitsi top and brushed with beaten yolk. Bake in oven until 200-220 C until golden in color. Still warm, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
