Jamaican bananas

Ingredients
1/3 cup butter
2 tsp crushed caramel
2 tbsp lemon juice
4 large bananas, cut into four
2 tbsp rum
ice cream for serving
Method
The butter, sugar and lemon juice is put in a pan on medium heat and stir until the butter is melted. The pan is removed from the fire, put the bananas and stir gently in the butter. Pour rum, cover the pan and reheat for about 10 minutes. Bananas are served topped with whipped cream or ice cream. If you are prepared for Roma children may be replaced with 1 tsp cinnamon sugar before being fried bananas.
