Layered cake Winter Wonderland

Ingredients
150 g toasted walnuts halves
150 g ginger biscuits
2 tbsp sugar
50 g butter or margarine
1.5 l vanilla ice cream
2 tbsp mixture of ground spices (cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, nutmeg)
Method
Set aside 16 walnut halves for decoration. The remaining walnuts, ginger biscuits and sugar is ground in the kitchen combine and mix with melted butter. Spread the mixture on the bottom of a baking dish with a diameter of 23 cm and a height of 8 cm. Pressed by hand even layer. Bake 8 minutes in a preheated oven at 190 C, then removed and allowed to cool completely. While biscuit substrate cools, the ice cream is removed from the freezer and allowed to stand for 20 minutes at room temperature to soften slightly. After stirring with the ground spices. Flavored ice cream is spread on the substrate, smoothed and decorated with walnut halves separated. Cake form is covered tightly with foil and leave the chamber of the refrigerator or in the freezer for at least one night, and still more preferably - in a few days. Before serving the frozen cake is removed, freed from the mold and allowed to stand for 15-20 minutes at room temperature, can be cut more easily.
